50cent

As per the title of today's post... I scored a bunch of items for approx. 50 cents each this week at CVS.

What you see here is worth about $50.  With my coupons the total was about $28. I had $10 and $2.50 ExtraCare bux from previous purchases so I paid $16 out of pocket.  Then I got a free $10 gas card bringing my total for these items to about $6.

For twelve items, that's roughly 50 cents each.

This is a transaction i did while leaving work the other night.

4 - Advil $1.84 each
1 - Carmex $2.48

Used:
2 - $3 off 2 Advil
1- 75 cents off Carmex

Including 10% discount and tax my total was $2.94

... then the dogs ate my Carmex.  :/
 This is Fry's on Friday.

I paid less than a dollar for each box of cereal.
The Koolaid was all FREE.
BBQ sauce was 49 cents each
Hot Pockets were $1.24 each
Hungry Man dinners were $1.44 each

Comet was from Target and cost 34 cents.  Not sure how it got in the Fry's group.
How did I get it for 34 cents?  On coupons.com there are coupons for Comet Stainless Steel cleaner.
If you get one of the Target Comet Stainless coupons and one of the Manufacturer Comet coupons you can stack them at Target to save a total of $2 on the product.  Right now, this cleaner is on a price cut for anywhere from $1.99 to $2.34.  Minus $2 and you've got FREE or close to it cleaner!

And this was Walgreens on Friday.
Olay body wash $2 each, well worth it for me as it is one of the only kinds I can use and it works well for shaving.
Ivory soap was FREE!  There were $1 off 1 Ivory product coupons last Sunday and I had four.  Ivory soap is on sale at Walgreens for 99 cents so I actually made a penny each on this purchase.
The Shick cost around $23 full price.  I had $7 in coupons so I paid $16 but then I got back a $10 Register Reward so I only paid $3 each for them.
The bacon was 44 cents each.
The Zzzquil was $1.99 each after sale, register reward and coupon.  I find that I NEED this stuff.  I really have some problems getting to sleep most nights and I don't like to take anything, but every few days I do just to get some sleep.  These are wonderful and whomever thought them up is my hero for the day.

Not much coming up in the next couple weeks.  I have promised not to get anymore cereal for a while.  I currently have 59 unopened boxes.  BUT I thought I had more and I have some really good coupons so....

I'm also stocking up on toilet paper.  In today's paper there are coupons for 50 cents off Cottonelle which is at Walgreens right now for $5.  If you use the 50 cent coupon and the $1 coupon in Walgreens July coupon booklet (available on the stand right inside the door) you get Cottonelle for $3.50!  I'm trying to stock up so my family doesn't have to go to the store much while I am in Milwaukee and they are still here.

Anyway... that's about it for now.
Til next time...
